Clifton volunteers his time in semiretirement as the Chief Technical Officer for Military & Veteran Advocacy of Northern Colorado. 

Clif brings to the table unsurpassed technical expertise across multiple disciplines. He went to school for computer electronics technology, a transitional curriculum period coming out of the analogue to digital electronics age, the lost art of component level testing and repair. He has vast experience in customer service relations as a field services technician with previous background academically studying computer electronics technology. Clifton also also holds certifications in hazardous material transport. 

Clif comes from a long line of military service members, and equates his experiences growing up understanding the importance of advocacy for military personnel and veterans, and what it means to help people in need. 

As a "glorified hobby" Clif enjoys spending time tinkering around with laser display technology, and is one of the the principal owners of Nightlight Photonics LLC, a small independent research and development firm recognized by Centers for Devices and Radiological Health; Magnetic Resonance and Electronics Products Branch of the Food and Drug Administration; for the design, manufacture, and certification of laser projection systems introduced into U.S. commerce. 

Clif's primary company role is as a research investigator that includes technical operations and laser safety compliance for entertainment purposes and scientific inquiry.

Andrew is the owner of OEM Design as well as provides contract support for integrated HIPAA compliance involving information technology solutions.  

Andrew volunteers his time to Military & Veteran Advocacy of Northern Colorado as an information technology HIPAA compliance consultant. 

His previous military experience working in the intelligence community, and with commercial healthcare records management systems hardening security and physical infrastructure. 

Andrew is also a digital forensics expert with extensive experience in areas of cybersecurity to help mitigate risks and provide top-tiered risk assessments for those management solutions.

Sarah is the founder of Sarah Haggerty, LLC, professionally focussing as a Life Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor.  

Sarah volunteers her time with Military & Veteran Advocacy of Northern Colorado providing clinical consultation on a wide variety of topics concerning treatment approaches for military veterans and respective families.

Sarah's skills consist of Integrative Psychotherapy, Holistic Life Coaching, Group Leadership, Professional Mentoring,

Sarah's academic background at the graduate level at Naropa University

Sarah relates a special passion for environmental education, and sparks this passion in both the students she teaches and teachers she leads. 

She has an unique management technique, empowering her staff to do their best and produces renowned educational programs.

MaryAnn is in the process of furthering her education in the medical field. She brings to the table a wide variety of both academic and professional experience tirelessly committed to the CNA field while working towards her undergraduate studies. She is currently working in a post-acute rehabilitation facility.

MaryAnn volunteers her time with Military & Advocacy of Northern Colorado as a health records auditor, ensuring evidence based research methods are being applied properly to company advanced research projects involving predictive analytics and artificial intelligence.  

Having assisted memory care units as a niche – MaryAnn has a unique perspective of the challenges individuals face when trying to maintain continuity of care between providers in multidisciplinary care settings, and this is even more apparent in her abilities to audit medical record information, particularly so for veterans after leaving active military service reintegrating back into civilian life. As a sidebar she comes from a military family, and intimately knows on a personal level what it means for the need to analyze information between government record repositories, personnel datasets, and health information record exchanges to compare notes in her audits when correcting records for discharge review boards are a top priority.

MaryAnn is sought after for her specialty experience working with veterans correcting records, as well as the general civilian population in memory care units acting currently as a CNA in a Senior Living facility. 

MaryAnn has an extensive track record working with prior military service members suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She is a strong advocate and ally for the rights of patients and medical providers alike – protecting our most vulnerable people.

Chris is a postgraduate researcher and DSW applicant promoting Social Work's 8th Grand Challenge; “Harnessing technology for social good". His research topic informs social work practice about the ethical considerations for macro-level social work, by examining the advanced uses of technologies evolving healthcare delivery and administrative processes. His research theme seeks to identify and address the potential disparity across networks aggregating data in virtual environments. 

Chris utilizes a systems theory approach to investigate how current policies and law govern clinical and administrative application of Artificial Intelligence and Predictive Analytics.

Promoting Social Work’s 8th Grand Challenge in postgraduate research, and with a Master of Social Work with concentration in Mental Health & Trauma – Chris is currently practicing as a therapist clinically in private practice. 

Chris integrates previous professional  experience into his work which includes corporate level security, human resource management, communication technology, and information management for the U.S. Military. 

Academic credentials: University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW); Master of Social Work program - Mental Health and Trauma concentration (clinical). Colorado State University's School of Social Work; Bachelor of Social Work program (general), and Charter Oak State College; Bachelor of Science program, Applied Behavioral Sciences concentration with psychology designation.

 Dr. Fohrman is an expert with over 22 years of experience in the prevention and treatment of PTSD.

Dr. Fohrman volunteers his time to Military & Veteran Advocacy of Northern Colorado offering Continuing Education Units in a verity of areas for practitioner licensure requirements. 

 Dr. Fohrman did his psychiatry training in the army where he worked as the Chief of Mental health for the 1st Armored Division.  Later on, Dr. Fohrman worked in the VA where he helped thousands of military veterans suffering with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and other serious post-trauma problems.  

Dr. Fohrman is also a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.  He has extensive experience treating children, adolescents and adults suffering with the long-term effects of child abuse as well as other, repeated, horrific events.  

Dr. Fohrman has helped hundreds of patients who have been referred by other clinicians.  These individuals had suffered for years, or even decades, with others had called treatment-resistant PTSD.  

Dr. Fohrman understands that many patients suffering with the same, or ever worsening, post-trauma problems for years have lost hope that things could ever get better.  

 Dr. Fohrman’s approach towards treating PTSD does a lot of things.  But first and foremost, it gives patients hope; because, with practice, anyone can learn the skills they need undo the biological and psychological impact of prior trauma.  

Dr. Fohrman used his clinical experience, as well as over 30 years of clinical research, to create Traumatic Stress Recovery Training (TSRT).  TSRT has helped thousands of people just like you find a way to:

Susan graduated with a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 1988. 

She has been practicing in the mental health field for over 30 years. During that time, She’s worked with people of all ages, from young children to older adults. Areas of specialization have included; working with children and families experiencing the difficulty of divorce and custody disputes, Play Therapy with young children, teens going through the changes and stress of adolescence, parent/child relationships stressed by any number of life’s challenges, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, Bi-Polar Disorder, depression, borderline personality disorder, divorce, interpersonal violence, loss and grief, and life transitions.

In recent years Susan specialized in utilizing a trauma-informed approach, focusing on providing EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy, and other brain-based therapies. In recent years my work has involved working with a fair amount of Complex PTSD or developmental trauma.

Susan utilizes an Integrative Model of clinical supervision, engaging in a variety of concepts, theories and strategies that are geared toward meeting the supervisee where they are at in their professional development. She strives to provide clear and descriptive feedback to supervisees as they reflect on their growing competence and identity as a clinician. Susan’s style as a clinical supervisor is characterized by genuine warmth and respect. 

Susan lives in Estes Park, Colorado where she’s had a private practice for the past 10 years. Susan moved to Colorado from Minnesota 12 years ago. She actively volunteered in her community with Partners Mentoring Youth, Restorative Justice, and Estes Valley Crisis Advocates. 

Susan currently volunteers for a rabbit rescue in Erie, CO.

Brianna Yakovee is passionate about working with Veterans. She has personal experience with veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. She is a great resource for veteran owned businesses. She obtained her insurance license in 1997. She has been in the brokerage setting for over 12 years.

Brianna volunteers her time to Military & Veteran Advocacy of Northern Colorado educating veteran and respective veteran small businesses understand insurance options and community access to resources involving respite care and home-host providing.

Brianna is also passionate about offering addiction resources and harm reduction to her community. She volunteers for recovery support and harm reduction at events. She also has a social group for people who are clean, sober, and sober curious to socialize on Meetup. 

Her long-term goal is to help build a safe community and offer inclusion of people that suffer from addiction or abuse. She can show you how to have fun without substances.  She hosts an annual alcohol free festival as well. You may even catch her driving Lyft to help lower the amount of intoxicated drivers out on the roads.

Additionally, Brianna is a single mother of two amazing boys in Northern Colorado.  They are very creative and involved in serving their community as well. She is also getting certified to be a foster mother for when the need arises. She has been a host Mom to the intellectually disabled in the past. She also offers respite care to parents and caregivers when she can. Brianna's hobbies are exploring, kayaking and archery.  

 Ed Conley is an Arizona native, born in Patagonia ,Arizona, the only son with four sisters.

He is the father of  two grown sons and has three grandchildren.

Conley enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1968 at the age of 17. After completing Boot Camp at MCRD San Diego , Infantry training  and  staging battalion at Camp Pendelton, California, he deployed to Vietnam in June of 1969.

Shortly after arriving in country, Conley was assigned to the Blue Dragon ROK Marines in I Corps and participated in an amphibious landing, Operation Defiant Stand, on a notorious Vietcong  held island south of Chu Lai, where he spent the next month in jungle clearing and search and destroy mission until he was ultimately wounded in a rocket attack and was med evaced to Yokouska Naval Hospital in Japan.

After recovering from a traumatic brain injury, post concussive trauma to the back numerous shrapnel and gunshot wounds, he finished out his overseas tour at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. Upon returning to CONUS, he received a 15 month early out based on his combat service and serious injuries and found himself being a 19 year old combat veteran.

Most of his life he worked in the video production industry as a cameraman, director, producer ,director of photography and editor in the T.V. broadcast  and news field as well as a producer of training and instructional videos for the Department of The Army at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona,  Chief of TV , combat camera unit at Kirkland AFB in Albuquerque, NM and traveled throughout the world in support of his duties.

In 2000, he was a founding board member of Community Access TV of Silver City, New Mexico.

He was the main producer of content for the first two years, providing the community with several regular programs as well as content for local first responders, veterans organizations, and non-profit organizations.

During this time, he taught video production classes to local volunteers and created the first ever local short film festival in 2005.

He lived there and was active producing un til 2012.

In 2012, he moved to Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado, where he established a TV studio and video production function in support of various workshops and activities at the ranch.

Currently Ed lives in Cumming ,Georgia and is in business with his oldest Son, Sean

Samantha Mason Vazquez is a

Currently he is a Professor of Practice with one of India's best universities, Chitkara University and the Managing Editor of The Financial World, a prestigious delhi based business newspaper  published by the publishers of the acclaimed Tehelka Magazine.  

He has also worked as an international communications director with the United Nations, World Wildlife Fund for Nature, National University of Singapore and ProVeg Germany. As an international television broadcaster, Sourav has hosted, produced and directed various global science,  technology and business shows.

Sourav has also been an empaneled trainer for the German think tank, The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, training more than 15 different Asian and European Members of Parliaments on media strategies, advocacy and global visibility.

Most recently, he has trained the top policy makers of the Thai Government and the Thai Prime Minister’s office, along with senior officials and students from Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Chulalongkorn University (Chula), Kasetsart University (KU), King Mongkut University, Mahidol University (MU), and Thammasat University (TU)

For the prestigious World Association of Newspapers, Sourav has trained top newsroom editors and managers of over 30 newspapers, magazines and television channels from all around the globe on how to create compelling and more engaging content.

Finally as a communication specialist, he has consulted with various European and Asian companies on media advocacy for promoting the SDGs of the UN and the messaging to support a global circular economy.
